Evaluation of the addition of EGFR inhibitors and nanoparticle bound paclitaxel to induction chemotherapy in patients with SCCHN
Evaluation of the anatomic and metabolic effects of EGFR inhibitors in patients with SCCHN by sequential CT and FDG-PET
Evaluation of targeted agents and chemotherapy for the treatment of soft tissue sarcomas and bone sarcomas
Evaluation of targeted agents in the treatment of metastatic medullary differentiated, and anaplastic thyroid cancers
Current Research Projects
SCCHN
- Determination of tumor SUV by FDG-PET/CT before and after cetuximab in patients with metastatic SCCHN
- Determination of the primary tumor site response to a novel induction chemotherapy regimen (cisplatin, 5-FU, cetuximab, and abraxane) in patients with locally advanced SCCHN
- Participation in cooperative group (RTOG, ECOG, SWOG), pharmaceutical, and multi-institutional investigator inititiated clinical trials in SCCHN: ECOG 1302, Paradigm, AVIT, ARQ 501, Zactima, Imclone Lorhan Registry trials
Sarcoma
- Participation in cooperative group (Phase II Mayo Consortium, SWOG, P2C) and pharmaceutical clinical trials in sarcoma: STA-4783 (Synta), Sorafenib (SWOG), Glufosphamide (Threshold), CCI-779 (P2C), SAHA (P2C), IMC A12 (Imclone), Deforolimus (Ariad)
Thyroid Cancer
