Research

Continued management and resource management development of the Siteman Cancer Center High Speed Sorter Core Laboratory, established in 2001.

Current projects include:

Adaptation of FACScan flow cytometers to three laser, 8 color capable analyzers, replacing analog processing paths with fully digital, and software with post acquisition compensation control.

Further development of model organism parallel cell sorters in order to enhance analysis sensitivity and sorting purity. These sorters have been in use since 2006, a single sorter chassis with four sorter modules within.

Continued GMP process cell sorting and protocol development from an existing Biological Safety Cabinet parallel sorter having been used for human cell sorting since 2007, this sorter with two modules within one chassis.
